Kyle D. Bacon is a transformational leader, dedicated to investing in the lives of youth and communities of promise. Kyle previously led the Mentor Program & Partnerships for the D.C. Learning Center where he utilized his acute skills in business and relationship curation for development and program implementation in creating a culture of mentoring centered around youth voice. Prior, Kyle ran a second chance program for youth with justice system experience in Ohio. As a skilled speaker, trainer, and curator of developmental relationships, Kyle has significantly impacted positive academic and life outcomes through his work and expanded the capacity of leaders, mentors, and volunteers to positively impact communities of promise. Kyle was recognized as a Champion of Change in Education for African American Youth by the Obama Administration, and he has also been acknowledged for his leadership and dedicated service with a range of other awards. His passion for mentoring and justice work spawns from a long-time family commitment of leadership and service to communities — rooted in civics, education and economic empowerment.
Kyle is a proud alumnus of Howard University with a degree in International Marketing. He remains connected to the community and philanthropic service, jail and prison ministry, and life-enrichment small group as an active member of his faith community.
