ORLANDO, FL – October 4, 2016 – U.S. Dream Academy is excited to announce the details of the 3rd Annual Dream Believe Achieve Dinner and Auction, a dinner and auction to benefit after-school and mentoring programs in Orlando. This highly anticipated event will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 13, 2016, and will take place at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, FL. This year’s Honorary Event Chair, Dick Batchelor, a former member of the Florida House of Representatives, has been a long-time advocate for youth in Orlando and a supporter of the U.S. Dream Academy. He is currently the president of the Dick Batchelor Management Group, Inc. Vanessa Echols, WFTV’s news anchor, and acclaimed television journalist will serve as this year’s mistress of ceremonies. Renowned honorees of the 3rd Annual Dream Believe Achieve Dinner and Auction are Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings, Orange County Public School Superintendent Dr. Barbara Jenkins, and City of Orlando Police Chief John Mina. The U.S. Dream Academy’s Orlando Learning Community serves students at five Orange County Public Schools that help to improve high school graduation rates in Orlando for students at high-risk of school failure.
